Apple Beet Salad
4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 can (16-ounce) julienne beets, drained
1/2 cup sliced radishes
1/4 cup diagonally sliced green onions
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
Salt and pepper to taste
Dash hot sauce (optional)
In large bowl, combine apples, beets, radishes, and green onions. In small bowl, vinegar, olive oil, sugar, allspice, salt, pepper, and, if desired, hot sauce; pour over apple mixture and toss well. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
