This gem written by Tennessee Williams is a great film that was banned in many U.S cities in 1956 by the Catholic Legion of Decency. The movie was also banned in many countries like Sweden due to what was called exaggerated sexual content. Time magazine called it "dirtiest American-made motion picture that had ever been legally exhibited". Eli Wallach made his feature film debut in this classic.
