John Hughes made every girl want to be Molly Ringwald in the 80's. He made you feel understood when you watched his films. All the girls wanted their Jake Ryan and the quirky style of his many characters. John made you believe in magic and love, he made it okay to be different.
He will be missed by 80's kids like me who grew up watching all his films.
